Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Power BI Specialist / Data Analyst to join our dynamic analytics team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis and visualization, with extensive experience using Power BI to turn complex data sets into actionable insights. The Power BI Specialist / Data Analyst will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing BI solutions to support data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis: Analyze large and complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform business decisions.

  • Power BI Development: Design, develop, and deploy interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI, ensuring data accuracy and visualization clarity.

  • Data Modeling: Create and maintain efficient data models and relationships to support BI reporting requirements.

  • Data Integration: Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources, including Primavera P6, into Power BI, ensuring data consistency and integrity.

  • Deriving Data from P6: Develop methods to extract scheduling and project data from Primavera P6, transform it as needed, and integrate it into Power BI dashboards to provide comprehensive project insights.

  • Data Integration: Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into Power BI, ensuring data consistency and integrity.

  • Performance Optimization: Optimize Power BI solutions for performance, scalability, and usability.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, understand business needs, and translate them into effective BI solutions.

  • Reporting: Generate and deliver regular and ad-hoc reports, providing clear and actionable insights to business units and senior management.

  • Training and Support: Provide training and support to business users on Power BI functionalities and best practices.

  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for BI solutions, including data models, ETL processes, and user guides.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, with a significant focus on Power BI development and visualization.

  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Power BI, SQL, DAX, and data integration tools. Experience with other BI tools and programming languages (e.g., Python, R) is a plus.

  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide meaningful insights.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse business stakeholders.

  • Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis and reporting.

  • Certifications (Preferred): Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate or equivalent certification.
